Matthew Fonken

Matthew Fonken is running for Nevada's 2nd Congressional District to provide the representation Northern Nevadans deserve. With a background as a hospitality worker and rural organizer, Fonken served as the Executive Director of the Nevada State Democratic Party and National Field Director for Blue Wave America. He is campaigning on a platform of economic relief, healthcare accessibility, and the protection of public lands. From his experience as an Eagle Scout to his work in grassroots organizing, Fonken is dedicated to being a common-sense leader who prioritizes the needs of Nevada’s working families over Washington’s partisan gridlock.
