Tanya Lloyd

Tanya Lloyd was raised on a family farm outside Lockhart and has dedicated over 20 years to the classroom as a kindergarten teacher in a Title I school district. A "nontraditional" graduate of Texas State University, her platform is deeply informed by her experiences as an educator and a mother who navigated a high-risk pregnancy. Lloyd’s "American Rural Revival" initiative focuses on securing universal healthcare, restoring reproductive rights, and ensuring equitable funding for rural schools. By prioritizing people over corporate interests, she seeks to revitalize infrastructure and provide a strong voice for the working-class communities of the 27th District.
