Amanda Hollowell

Raised with roots deeply planted in Southeast Georgia, Amanda Hollowell earned her B.A. in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. A dedicated full-time caregiver to her veteran father and mother to a college student-athlete, she has spent decades building grassroots power through leadership roles at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, 9to5 Georgia, and Color Of Change. Centered on kitchen-table economics, Hollowell's 10-Point Affordability Agenda prioritizes Medicaid expansion, local job training, affordable housing, port worker advocacy, climate resilience for coastal communities, and protecting voting rights. She is running to deliver unbought, authentic, community-centered progress for working families overall.
