Don Leonard
OH-15
House
Democrat
BAC Nominee
Raised in an environment where resourcefulness wasn't always enough to ward off housing insecurity, Don Leonard experienced firsthand the necessity of public safety nets. He earned degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, before completing a Ph.D. in government at Cornell University. After serving in the Peace Corps, he spent a decade educating the next generation at The Ohio State University. Grounded in kitchen-table economics, Leonard's platform prioritizes dismantling trickle-down economic frameworks by capping skyrocketing childcare costs, expanding affordable housing initiatives, and restructuring healthcare networks to serve everyday people over corporate special interests.
