The Declaration of American Renewal

Written in fidelity to the Declaration of Independence on the occasion of its 250th anniversary

The Declaration of American Renewal is hereby written in stalwart Fidelity to the Spirit and Letter of the United States of America’s Declaration of Independence on the occasion of its 250th anniversary.

When in the Course of examining our Nation’s rich and complex history, with Respect to Our Great Successes as well as the Humble Acknowledgement of Our Shortcomings, and upon Thoughtful Reflection in solemn Observance of our 250th year as a Free and Sovereign Nation, and to assume the Aspiration and Righteous Endeavor to be the More Perfect Union our Forefathers envisioned, that our Strength as a Nation be forever defined by our Just, Fair, and Humane compliance with the Rule of Law, we declare the grounds which impel us to this Declaration of American Renewal, wherein we swear to Protect and Strengthen the Checks and Balances as prescribed by Our Constitution and Manifest the promise of Enduring Freedom embedded in our Declaration of Independence, both of which bind us together as One Nation.

This Declaration of American Renewal is Defined by our American Values, our Beautiful Diversity, and Our Unyielding Commitment to Protect the Sacred Rights of All Who Call America their Home.

Since first proclaiming Our Independence and declaring that we hold Certain Truths to be Self-Evident and Inviolable, we have seen the increasing erosion of public trust in our sacred Democracy, naturally resultant from plain observance of those Elected to the Public Service and High Office, often under what we deem the improper influence of Corporate Interests or self-serving gain, neglecting the very interests of those whom they are sworn to serve: We, The People.

Therefore, on this 250th year of our Nation’s Independence, recognizing that the very root of the word “Congress” means “To Come Together,” we assemble to pledge collectively to pursue such reforms as will restore the Vital and Intrinsic Safeguards of Checks, Balances, and Accountability, as those first enshrined in and Intended by Our Constitution, wherein the Sacred Union of Liberty and Responsibility give birth to the Hallowed Promise of American Freedom.

We, therefore, faithful Citizens of the United States of America, appealing to the Intent of our Representative Democracy as enshrined by our Forefathers who Declared our Independence two hundred and fifty years ago, reaffirm Our Commitment:​

“...with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”
